To provide financial assistance to small scale and medium scale industries within its jurisdiction covering the North Eastern States of Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur and Tripura.
| Objectives | 1. To accelerate the industrial growth of the
region through financial assistance on concessional
terms to industrial and service sector units, projects satisfying the definition of SME sector. 2. Promotion of Self-employment. 3. Proper utilization of local resources of raw materials in the production of consumer goods towards socio-economic and industrial development of the region. 4. To encourage new and technical entrepreneurs towards industrial projects. 5. To provide assistance for promotion or expansion of industry by the urban and rural areas. |
